We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our team.
As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities and programs.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of activities and programs for residents in accordance with their individual needs and interests - Conduct group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, and social events - Provide one-on-one support to residents who may require additional assistance or personalized activities - Collaborate with the activity director to develop monthly activity calendars and ensure a diverse range of options for residents - Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress - Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity areas before and after each session - Foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes social interaction, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being Requirements:
- Previous experience working with seniors in a nursing home or assisted living setting is preferred - Knowledge of aging issues, recreational therapy, memory care, and senior care practices - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Proficient in event planning and coordination At our facility, we offer competitive pay rates, comprehensive benefits packages, and opportunities for career growth.
